How to Cancel Meetup Manually

Unsubscribe by following these steps:

To cancel recurring billing on your account, click on the ‘Organizer Subscription’ tab from your ‘Account’ page:

  1. Go to http://www.meetup.com/account/subscription/
  2. Click ‘Cancel subscription’
  3. Click ‘Yes’

Your organizer subscription will be canceled for future billings, and you’ll be free to remain as organizer until your plan expires.

Please note that once your plan has run its course, you’ll be stepped down as the organizer of the Meetup group. Your members will receive an invitation to keep the Meetup group going by stepping up to become the next organizer – if you have co-organizers or assistant organizers, they’ll be notified first. If someone volunteers, your Meetup group will stay open under new leadership.

If you started your subscription via our iOS app, you’ll have to log into the App Store to cancel your subscription.
